Rio part 2, Chapter 9

The chase was on! Nigel flew too the other side of the wall and chased the blue macaws and William and Claudia.
Jewel said, "OK! You can fly now Blu, so we can now fly without having any problems of falling, right?
Blu replied, "Yeah, but I think you forgot there's another bird attached to our chain!"
"I know!" Jewel shouted.
"Hey!" Carlos shouted, "I can fly to you know!"
Jewel then said, "On 3, we fly together!.....1......2.......3!"
Nigel swooped down towards them, then they all flew up at the same time leaving Nigel to crash into a wall.
They were struggling a little while flying yelling, "No, to the left!" "No not that way!"
They were getting confused and had to get out of there.
Claudia and William got an air vent opened and yelled, "This way!"
They all flew right into the air vent.
Nigel got up and yelled, "You won't get away this time!"
Then he flew in the vent after them.

Meanwhile in the other room..........

Luiz was cutting the cages open letting birds free.
"Lets go birds!" Luiz shouted, "Freedom awaits!"
All the birds were looking for way to get out, there was a big door, but it was locked on the other side.
Some birds got out the way Luiz came in.
Anna went to Nico and Pedro and said, "There's an air vent up there, we could use that. We have to figure out what room my brothers are in."
Then they heard something in the vent, "oof!" "Ow!" "oof!" "Ouch!" and out popped Blu and the other birds.
"Hello!" William said as he was falling.
Anna saw them and yelled, "Carlos!" She ran and hugged him, "You came back!"
"and this is our brother." Carlos said pointing to Blu.
Blu replied, "Hi there."
"Its great to see your alright!" She said hugging Blu, "And you have a girlfriend!"
Carlos then asked, "Wheres mother and father?"
Anna looked at him, then her face turned sad.
Carlos and Blu knew what happened and said, "I understand. Lets get out of this place."
"Luiz!" Blu yelled, "Your here! Do us a favor and drool on our feet!"
"WHAT?!" Jewel and Carlos yelled.
Blu said, "Its what got us free last time!"
Luiz replied, "With pleasure!"
Then the blue macaws got free of the chain.
The birds yelled, "To the air vent!"
Jewel shouted, "No wait!"
Then Nigel's voice was heard in the vent saying, "Get back here you blasted blue macaws!"
He popped out yelling, "YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!"

On the other side of the door, Marcel and Arnold were coming to get Anna.
"Is that the door?" Marcel asked.
"No," Answered Arnold, "That's where I keep my dynamite."
Marcel asked, "What do you use dynamite for?"
Arnold answered, "Fishing. Now this is the door where I keep my captured........"
Then he heard a noise in the room where he keeps his birds.
He listened and thought, "Whats going on in there?"
He unlocked the door, then POW!
The birds all flew out and stared to looks for ways out.
"Freedom!" Pedro shouted.
Arnold looked in shock, "NO! MY BIRDS! MY BIRDS!"
He turned and saw the blue macaws, then his good mood went away!
"Marcel!" He yelled, "The blue macaws escaped! This is all your fault!"
Marcel replied, "Your really blaming me?"
Arnold answered, "Yeah, I'm gonna kill you now!" then he reached for his gun.
"Wait!" Marcel said, he went and grabbed Nigel, "Nigel was the one guarding them, its all his fault, SHOOT HIM!"
Nigel was shocked! His own owner turned on him!
Arnold looked then replied, "Good point, make sure I don't hit you."
He aimed his gun, then Blu flew over and knocked it away.
The gun fired and the bullet bounced up and hit a chandelier lit with oil candles.
It fell, crashed, and started a big fire.
Arnold looked at the room filled with dynamite and thought, "LETS GET OUT OFF HERE!"
He, Marcel and his men got out in time.
The birds all got out, But Blu, Jewel, and Carlos, were still trapped.
Blu and Jewel got separated from Carlos by the fire.
Then Claudia swooped down and grabbed Carlos and flew right into an opening.
"Lets go my love!" She said.
Carlos replied, "Thank you so.....wait? Love!"
Then she turned and kissed him.
Blu and Jewel were still trapped inside.
Blu thought it was over and said, "Well, looks like this is it Jewel!"
Jewel replied, "Don't give up just yet Blu!"
Then they heard a voice, "This way!"
They followed the voice and escaped just before the fire reached the dynamite.
When Blu and Jewel got out they saw who saved them.
It was Nigel!
"Nigel?!" Blu wondered.
Jewel added, "I thought you hated us."
Nigel answered, "You guys saved my life, and for that I knew that even pretty birds can be my friends. Thank you."
Blu and Jewel were stunned then asked, "So you will come with us?'
"No," Nigel answered. "I would rather be a traveler. To go places I always wanted to see, so I say good bye to you guys, for now. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to take care of something."

The smugglers were running to the town thinking, "We made it! Were out of here!"
But little did they know the fire got the attention of the cops that were waiting for them.
"Freeze!" the cops yelled, one said, "Hey, its the smuggler that escaped from Rio."
Another said, "And its Arnold Smith! We've been looking for you for a long time."
All the smugglers were arrested.
Marcel looked out the window of the car and saw Nigel.
He called to him, "Nigel, help us get out of here."
Nigel gave him an angry look.
"Oh." Marcel said, "Your still mad about the whole, Your fault thing are you? I'm sorry Nigel!"
Nigel just stood there as the police car was pulling away with Marcel yelling, "Nigel! Nigel! NIGEL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Nigel then said happily, "Hasta la vista, loser." The he flew off.
